As a child, I was enchanted by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales. To this day, I am enthralled about Scandinavian culture and crime literature. As a sucker for stories, food, and snug ambience--hygge--Copenhagen is too perfect of a fit. I wanted to take the opportunity to immerse myself in the culture and context of the curriculum.
